Generations Bank Announces Renewed 3 Year Commitment to The PiTCH Seneca Falls, N.Y. – Generations Bank announced today that it has renewed its commitment to The PiTCH, a forum for the development of new musicals at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival in Auburn, New York, at a $20,000 per year level for the next three years. “Generations Bank is deeply committed to the communities in which we serve and actively seek out opportunities to support the quality of life we love in the Finger Lakes. We see the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival as a natural partner for the bank with their programs that focus on making the arts accessible for the community at large”, noted Menzo Case, President of Generations Bank. The PiTCH is a unique opportunity for musical theatre writers from around the world to workshop their new musicals in development. The Festival supplies resources that provide support and opportunity for teams to focus solely on their creative process. Furthermore, the PiTCH creates dialogue between audience and writers, enabling teams to test material, ask questions and benefit from feedback.

“This long term financial commitment from Generations Bank enables us to enact strategic planning on every level. The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival is a cultural anchor in Auburn and the region. With this commitment, the Festival is able to leverage the arts as an enrichment, educational and entertainment tool of the highest standard. Our thanks runs as deep as our fondness for our friends at Generations Bank,” remarked Brett Smock, Producing Artistic Director of The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival. Generations Bank has been the sole sponsor of The PiTCH since its inception in 2012. Submissions are being accepted online now for the fifth season of The PiTCH, which runs from June 16-July 30, 2016 at Theater Mack.
