Corporate Profile
Generations Bank was established in 1870 as Seneca Falls Savings Bank—a New York chartered mutual savings bank. In 2012, the bank’s name and the insurance agency’s name were changed to Generations Bank and Generations Agency respectively.
In January 2021, Generations Bank's holding company reorganized as a fully public stock holding company. As part of the conversion and reorganization, Generations Bank became a wholly owned subsidiary of a new holding company, Generations Bancorp.

Community Giving
We believe it is important to invest back into the communities we serve. We make it our goal to give back to the community both financially or through employee volunteer hours. Below are just a few of the community events, organizations, and programs we actively support.
PURPLE HEART TRAIL
Honoring those that were injured or killed while serving our country
As a proud supporter of our veterans, we started the first Purple Heart Trail in the Finger Lakes at our Headquarters located on 20 E Bayard St. in Seneca Falls. Members of the community submitted names which were included in the Trail.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Helping to build safe and affordable housing in our community
We work closely with Habitat for Humanity (HFH) because we believe everyone has the right to affordable housing. Many of our employees volunteer for HFH on a weekly basis and serve as members of the Seneca County HFH board of directors.
ACS GOLF TOURNAMENT
Raising money for the American Cancer Society
We organize the American Cancer Golf Tournament in Memory of Bob Rosenkrans. All proceeds raised during the tournament go to the American Cancer Society!
TASTE & TUNES
Raising money for local food pantries
Taste & Tunes is our annual charitable fundraiser which benefits four Seneca County food pantries. The event includes tastings from local restaurants, wineries and breweries, as well as, live music from local musicians.
RIGHT TO RUN 19K & 5k
Celebrating the achievements of women and Seneca Falls' history
The Right to Run (RTR) celebrates Seneca Falls' unique history as the birthplace of women's rights. Many of our employees volunteer for the race and serve on the RTR board & committee. The races are held in Seneca Falls and benefit different women's organizations.
D.A.R.E PROGRAM
Providing D.A.R.E. officers with the materials needed to teach children to resist drugs and violence
We provide key materials needed for D.A.R.E. Police Officers to teach the D.A.R.E. program to elementary students in Auburn, Clifton Springs, Geneva, Phelps, Romulus, Seneca Falls, Southern Cayuga, South Seneca and Waterloo!
