Here’s the thing about us…
We’re really you. We’re your friends and neighbors, and we care deeply about our communities and the people who make them such great places to live and raise a family. That’s part of what makes a great partnership. It’s the relationship and the familiarity and the commitment that only comes from being a part of our hometowns.
The other part is the financial expertise to help you, your family and your business to thrive. Since 1870, Generations Bank has been offering the products, services and advice to do just that.
Our roots run deep. And so does our financial experience. Together, they make us the financial partner you can count on.
Generations Bank was established in 1870 as Seneca Falls Savings Bank—a New York chartered mutual savings bank. In March 2000, it reorganized into the two-tier mutual holding company structure. As part of the reorganization, the bank became a wholly owned subsidiary of Seneca-Cayuga Bancorp, Inc., and Seneca-Cayuga Bancorp, Inc. became the wholly owned subsidiary of Seneca Falls Savings Bank, MHC. In 2012, the bank’s name and the insurance agency’s name were changed to Generations Bank and Generations Agency respectively.
