Generations Bank Donates to Local D.A.R.E. Programs

Seneca Falls, NY – Generations Bank announced today that is has donated $5,200 to local D.A.R.E programs. This will help fund the workbooks, certificates, awards, t-shirts, and participation materials for the 2024 – 2025 school year.

On Monday, May 20, 2024, D.A.R.E. Officers from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Geneva Police Department, and the Seneca Falls Police Department joined Generations Bank SVP - Chief Information Officer, Derek Dyson; SVP - Chief Banking Officer, AG Cutrona; and AVP - Facilities & Security Officer, Harry Bennett to pick up their funds to purchase the necessary learning materials. Elementary students in Geneva, Romulus, Seneca Falls, South Seneca and Waterloo will benefit from the D.A.R.E. program materials. The total contribution for the materials this year is $5,200.

“Generations has been deeply committed to funding the D.A.R.E. program across our footprint for nearly twenty years. It is imperative that kids learn to make safe and responsible decisions when it comes to drugs and alcohol and that is what this program is designed to do,” said Derek Dyson, SVP - Chief Information Officer of Generations Bank.
