Generations Bank Unveils Businesses Receiving Plaques for Seneca Falls Women’s Walk of Fame

Seneca Falls, N.Y. – Generations Bank announces ten businesses in downtown Seneca Falls to receive plaques for new Women’s Walk of Fame project. The first sidewalk plaque installment will occur at The Generations Bell Park located at 20 E Bayard St on Friday, May 12th from 4-6pm.

At this event, elected officials and guest speakers will highlight the project and encourage community support for future expansion of the walk of fame. The women of distinction named on the plaques will also be revealed for the first time at this event, while information of their legacy will be made available for the public to learn more. The businesses receiving the first round of plaques are Generations Bank, Generations Agency, The First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, Blush by CVDesigns, WomanMade Products, Downtown Deli, Seneca Falls Performing Arts Center, Fall Street Brewing, Café 19, and It’s a Wonderful Life Museum.

“This is a very exciting project that allows us to continue celebrating our rich history here in Seneca Falls, and we hope to garner community support to see it grow in the future” states Menzo Case, President & CEO of Generations Bank. “This walk of fame is the next unique tourist attraction for the Finger Lakes, that everyone can find a connection with—similar to that of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”

The groundbreaking event is open to the public and Generations encourages fans and patrons of these businesses to come show their support during the unveiling. Light fare and refreshments will be available during this event.
